Grave Marker Symbolism

As a family history addict, I enjoy finding old cemeteries and wandering through them to see what information is on the markers. Before my husband and I were married, I was on a trip with my mother and sister to visit relatives in Indiana and got a call from future hubby. He asked, "What are you doing?" I replied, "Taking photos in a cemetery." Which he didn't believe until the pictures came back from the developer.
